God |
There is one God who
exists in three
persons: the Father,
the Son, and the
Holy Spirit. He is
the Creator and
Ruler of the
universe. 1
Chronicles 29:11-13
|
|
Jesus |
Jesus is the Son of
God, was born of a
virgin, was wholly
God and wholly man,
lived a sinless
life, died in our
place as a sacrifice
for the sins of
mankind, was buried,
arose bodily from
the grave, and
ascended into
Heaven. Jesus will
literally return to
earth and will reign
as King over all the
earth. Hebrews 1:1-3
|
|
Holy Spirit
|
God the Holy Spirit
is the Comforter and
Guide Who lives in
every Believer,
exalts Jesus Christ,
convinces
unbelievers of their
need for salvation,
and draws people to
God. John 16:8-13
|
|
Bible |
The Bible is the
inspired Word of
God, is without
error, and is the
sole authority for
life and faith. 2
Timothy 3:16, 17
|
|
Humans |
Human beings are a
special creation of
God, made in His
image. Because of
the sin of Adam, the
first man, all
humans are sinners
and need salvation.
Romans 5:12
|
|
Salvation |
Salvation is a free
gift, available to
all. It is a
personal decision
that must be
individually made
when one comes to
realize his or her
need for Christ to
save them from the
penalty of sin.
Salvation is
received through
repentance and
trusting in the Lord
Jesus Christ for
eternal life.
Ephesians 2:8, 9
|
|
Assurance |
Every person who is
truly saved is
eternally secure in
the Lord Jesus
Christ. John 3:16
|
|
Christ's Return
|
Jesus Christ will
literally return to
earth. Revelation
20:4-6 |
|
Eternity |
People who die in
their sins without
Christ spend
eternity in Hell and
those who die with
their sins forgiven
through Christ spend
eternity in Heaven.
Revelation 20:11-15

|
Baptism |
Baptism is the
picture of Jesus
Christ’s death,
burial and
resurrection. It is
an act of obedience
that identifies you
with the One to whom
you have committed
your life. Baptism
does not earn
salvation. The word
“baptize” literally
means “to immerse”
and we believe
baptism by immersion
pictures our
position with Christ
in His death, burial
and resurrection.
Acts 8:36-39

|
Church |
The Church is the
Body of Christ with
the Lord Jesus
Christ as the Head.
The local church is
a body of Believers
serving Christ
together. Colossians
1:18 |
|
Prayer |
Every Believer has
direct access to God
through the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 4:14-16
|
|
The Lord's Supper
|
The Lord’s Supper is
a symbolic act of
obedience whereby
Believers remember
the death of the
Lord Jesus and
anticipate His
second coming. The
bread is symbolic of
His body and the
juice represents His
blood. 1 Corinthians
11:23-29
